Swim Spa Open/Close

Service Description

If you are wanting to shut your swim spa down for an extended period, or open it for use after an extended period, then this is the service for you. Popular with seasonal users. Closing or Winterising - During this visit, we will visually inspect and test your operating and feature parts, such as Jet Pumps, Circ Pump, Blower, Heater and PCB, A/V Valves and Diverters. We will also super chlorinate the water, then flush the system, drain the water, thoroughly clean the spa and vac out as much water as we can from the pipelines, clean your filter though and disconnect bottom unions and the drain, and leave open to allow any other water to escape the system. Opening - During this visit, we will re-connect bottom unions and close the drain, clean out the spa shell and re-install filters before proceeding to fill up the swim spa and balance the water, getting it ready for use. Finally, we will test the spa functions and features and make sure its left heating as we leave site. Either visit allows up to 180 minutes of our engineers time on site and includes travel to and from your location (subject to normal coverage areas), this is usually carried out over 2 separate visits due to filling time. 180 minutes allows good time to carry out the service, but poor access to the swim spa, lack of hose pipe or the swim spa being out of action for extended periods may prevent stages of the service. If you are a service plan customer, then this service is reduced by 10%.
